FSX Chambley-Bussieres Airport

Chambley-Bussières Airport (LFJY), the former French air base LF52, brings the Ailes Mosellanes aeroclub to life with photoreal ground textures and seasonal effects. Built for FSX, it adds around 80 custom models and 500 library objects, including static aircraft, vehicles, animated flags and windsocks, plus lively people and birds, with a VAC chart included.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Installation:

  • Extract the archive in a temp folder.
  • Move the LFJY folder (and all its contents) where you are used to store your add-on sceneries.
  • Start FSX and declare the scenery in the scenery library.
  • You're done.

Un-installation:

  • Delete the LFJY main folder (you should remember where you installed it, shouldn't you?)
  • Remove the scenery from the scenery library inside FSX.
  • You're done.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
