Soaring In East Tennessee delivers a scenic spring glider mission around Chilhowee Gliderport in FSX, with active thermals, an optional shared climb with another glider, and a short cross-country choice to three nearby airports. Release from tow, climb past 6,000 feet, then finish with a safe landing and bonus rewards for outlanding.

Soaring In East Tennessee. It's a beautiful spring day for soaring at Chilhowee Gliderport. Thermals are popping up all over, and it's a good day for a short cross country flight to any of three nearby airports. After release from tow, climb to at least 6000 feet and make a safe landing. FSX / P3D mission

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place mission files

Missions go into FSX\Missions\ as a sub-folder. The folder must contain an XML file describing the mission.

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
