FS2004 Cuban Curtiss C-46 Commando Expreso Aereo

Texture files for three C46's in the service of small Cuban airlines of the 1950's, Aerovias Q, Expreso Aereo, and Cuba Aeropostal. Textures only for the C46 by Libardo Guzman, Greg Pepper, and Tom Gibson. Requires the original file C46GA.ZIP. Based on textures by Greg Pepper, Cliff Presley, and Manuele Villa. • Copy the texture files texture.Q, texture.CubaAerop, and texture.expAereo to your C-46 folder.
• Make a backup copy of your aircraft.cfg file in that folder.
• In your aircraft.cfg file go just after the last entry in the [fltsim.##] list and add the following text, making sure to replace "XX" in the [fltsim.XX] with the next number that would follow after your current last number.

It was purchased by Cuba Aeropostal in August 1955, and transfered to Expreso Aereo in 1960 after the nationalization of all the Cuban airlines. It was seized in Miami, Florida, under a warrant involving a claim by a US company against the Cuban government. After three owners in the United States, it went to Aguilas Venezolanas as YV-C-BNC in 1962, later that year to Transportes Aereos CA, then withdrawn from use, and broken up, in 1966.

After WWII, it went through several owners, including ANDES (as OB-OAE-234) during 1948-1952, and AAXICO (as N3959C). Aerovias Q purchased it in 1957, was sold to LACSA as TI-1024C in 1959, and damaged beyond repair in a landing incident at Palma Sur, Costa Rica, on 8 November 1960.
