FSX Orange Cessna 152 C-GZBX

Orange livery for the Carenado Cessna 152 recreates Canadian-registered C-GZBX with a bright training-ready look and clean exterior detailing. Designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, the repaint updates the aircraft’s textures and registration while preserving the familiar Carenado modeling and virtual cockpit, and requires the payware Carenado C152 package.

This repaint is based around the real C-GZBX, this is not a 100% true to the original repaint but just an attempt by me to paint something close to it. This is my first repaint that I have released, I hope as my painting skills improve I can return to this and make it even more like the original.

  • First extract the files to a location of your choice then place the texture.orange folder in "\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\Carenado C152II\ folder and add this to your aircraft.cfg.
  • Replace X with the next free number.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.
  3. Verify in FSX

Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.
  4. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
