FS2004 AFCAD2 Files Portugal 2000

Portugal 2000 airports gain refined AFCAD2 layouts and corrected AI traffic altitudes, improving runway usage, taxi flows, parking, and menu availability across the included airfields. Built for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004, it requires the Portugal 2000 scenery and updates key fields such as Maia, Tires, and Monfortinho for more reliable operations.

Adds AFCAD2 information and correct AI traffic altitude for all airports included in the Portugal 2000 scenery. By Marcos A. Lopes.

These files are only compatible with Flight Simulator 2004 and Portugal 2000 scenery.

Made with AFCAD2 (by Lee Swordy) and JABBgl (by Jacky Brouze).

Installation:

  • Copy AF2*.* files to \Addon Scenery\Scenery folder.
  • Copy AP*.* files to \Scenery\Eurw\Scenery folder.


Note (for advanced users only): If you want to manually alter AI Traffic altitude, skip step 2 and use a program like JABBgl (by Jacky Brouze) to edit the following values:

  • Maia - 230.624m
  • Tires - 93.325m
  • Monfortinho - 322.368m

Usage:

After installation, you can takeoff or land in any of Portugal airfields. The airfields will show up in Flight Simulator 2004 menu.

To add AI Traffic to the airfields, I highly recommend using the program GA-Traffic (by Markus Brunner).

How to install this mod

FS2004 add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per readme

    FS2004 add-ons go into FS9\Aircraft\, FS9\Addon Scenery\, FS9\Gauges\, or FS9\Effects\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
