This free add-on features a faithful recreation of Lufthansa Cargo’s special “Jambo Kenya” scheme adorning a Boeing 777-FBT, registration D-ALFB, designed exclusively for FSX and intended for the payware PMDG 777 series. Developed by Corina Meyer, this high-fidelity texture package captures the unique livery details found on the real-world cargo jet and provides an engaging long-haul freighter experience.
Highlighting the Aircraft’s Unique Characteristics
The Boeing 777-FBT (often referred to as the 777F) is renowned for its extensive range and efficient twin-engine performance. This particular Lufthansa Cargo iteration incorporates the “Jambo Kenya” insignia, which pays tribute to the airline’s logistical networks linking Europe and Africa. Operators favor the 777F due to its high cargo capacity and advanced cockpit avionics (the central panel hosts modern flight displays and robust navigation systems). While the real D-ALFB is dedicated to transporting freight worldwide, sim pilots will get to replicate its operations in FSX with an attention to detail that matches the aircraft’s real counterpart.

Important Note on Requirements
This repaint requires the PMDG Livery Manager, included with the PMDG 777 payware package. The base model is not part of this download and must be acquired separately. Flight simmers need to ensure they have the correct version of the PMDG 777 installed prior to applying these textures.
Installation Steps
- Extract the .ptp file from the downloaded archive.
- Open the PMDG Operations Center and access the Livery Manager for the 777 series.
- Select “Click to Add” and specify the newly extracted .ptp file.
- Allow the software to complete the automatic installation.
Once installed, the “Jambo Kenya” livery can be selected from within FSX for any cargo venture you wish to embark upon. This add-on aims to enrich the haulage environment in your simulator and reflects the distinct markings that Lufthansa Cargo applied to mark its Kenyan routes. Enjoy exploring this globally recognized freight operator’s special color scheme in the virtual skies.
