This freeware package offers a detailed British Airways Boeing 787-10, produced in CamSim version 4 and designed by Camil Valiquette. It introduces a refined wing root structure, updated passenger entrance widths, and revised window outlines. It also incorporates additional antennas, animated air ducts, and increasingly advanced Ground Servicing elements. These features help create a more immersive experience for anyone seeking to enhance FSX with a realistic Dreamliner.

Key Design Points

This model depicts the Boeing 787-10, which is the largest of the Dreamliner series. Its extended fuselage accommodates more passengers, and British Airways has used it on various long-haul routes. This add-on reflects those real-world characteristics through subtle shaping changes and multiple animations.

Refined Elements

  • Enhanced wing root design for improved external accuracy
  • Wider passenger doors showcasing revised window transitions
  • Expanded air duct animations and antennas for authentic surface details
  • New cargo interaction effects with animated Ground Servicing vehicles

Installation Process

Extract the included folders into your FSX “Airplane” directory. If you have not installed any of the previous AGS models by Camil Valiquette, unzip the additional “Effects.zip” into your main FSX folder. This step places optional night lighting effects inside your “Effects” directory.

Ground Service Animations

The author integrated a full range of AGS (Animated Ground Servicing) features. Use these assignments within FSX for full control:

  • Shift + E opens and closes the passenger door M2.
  • Shift + E + 2 opens and closes the first passenger entry M1, which activates default FSX ground animations.
  • Shift + D controls the cargo bay doors.
  • Shift + C begins or ends the specialized servicing animations.

Command Assignments

To take advantage of every animation, align these key bindings under Options > Settings > Controls > Buttons/Keys in FSX:

  • Wing fold/unfold assigned to Shift + C
  • Tail hook up/down assigned to Shift + D

This aircraft mod, developed and painted by Camil Valiquette, showcases recognizable British Airways markings coupled with a meticulously crafted 787-10 airframe. It enriches FSX by blending accurate visual details with multiple ground activity sequences. Enjoy this robust rendition and explore intercontinental routes under the British Airways livery.

Requires dependencies

This add-on may require the following files to function properly. If this is a repaint, the dependency below is likely the base aircraft package.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.
  3. Verify in FSX

Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.
  4. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
