Iberia Airbus A340-642 EC-LEU “Rio Amazonas” brings the airline’s modern livery to Thomas Ruth’s long-haul A340-600, with crisp exterior textures and accurate registration details for an authentic fleet lineup in Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Textures-only release requires Thomas Ruth’s A340-600 package for full aircraft and virtual cockpit support.

Repaint for Thomas Ruth's Airbus A340-600 model. Baptized as "Rio Amazonas" and registered EC-LEU, this is the second A346 repainted in the new scheme for the Spanish Airline since 2013. Textures only, requires Thomas Ruth's A340-600 package (TOMA346.ZIP). By Xudeva Irribarra.

Installation:

  • Place the 'Texture.ibe' folder into your Flight Simulator X directory, under ...SimObjects\Airplanes\Tom_A340-600
  • Open the aircraft.cfg file and paste the following text into the file after the previous aircraft repaint, ensuring to replace [fltsim.x] with the next number in sequence, e.g. [fltsim.9]

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

    Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.

  3. Verify in FSX

    Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
