Requires the FSX Boeing C-97 V1 Beta Base Pack and the C-97 V1 Beta Patch for the Team Strat aircraft.

Textures for Manfred Jahn's FSX update of Greg Pepper's KC97; requires FSX Boeing C-97 V.1 Beta Base Pack (FSX_BOEING_C97_V1B.ZIP) and FSX Boeing C-97 V1 Beta Patch (C97_PATCH2.ZIP) by Manfred Jahn and Team Strat, a work in progress. You must have this aircraft installed in order to use the Cal Air Guard textures. By Dave McQueen.

Installation:

In your main FSX folder, open the "Boeing_C-97" folder (located here: "FSX/SimObjects/Airplanes/Boeing_C-97")
Copy the "texture.CALANG" folder from this file and place it in the Boeing_C-97 folder.
Add (copy+paste) the [fltsim.XX] information below to the aircraft.cfg -- replace XX with the next highest number in the aircraft.cfg list.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.
Verify in FSX

Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.
