FSX USN Chance-Vought F-8 Of VF-24

Here are two skins for the freeware Alphasim F8 Crusader, now upgraded to FSX native by Henk Schuitemaker. They represent two aircraft from US Navy fighter squadron VF-24 during two combat cruises off Vietnam in 1967 aboard the USS Bonhomme Richard, and 1969/70 on the USS Hancock. 146998 is an F-8C from the '67 cruise and 148705, one of 89 F-8D's upgraded to F-8H standard, is off the '69 cruise on the Hancock. Also included are new burner can files located in the 'texture' folder. Go to the 'texture' folder in the main Alphasim F-8 directory and make backup copies of these four files before proceeding.

Unzip to a location of your choice and copy the three texture folders into your main Alphasim F-8 directory, overwriting when prompted. Open the 'aircraft.cfg' file and copy and paste the following after the last variant entry. Replace [xx] with the next variation numbers ans save.
