X-Plane 11 London VFR v1.2 Scenery

This package contains 960 objects for the city of London and is the result of six months work.

The project originally started out as a test to see if using more objects from the SketchUp Warehouse would improve the look of the scenery. It did and because of this, it became an obsession.

During the period the author was working on the project, X-Plane went from 11.00 to 11.25. Some of the changes really helped, especially the new Aerolite. Flying over the city from EGLC is so cool.

6 months work and 960 objects later, here it is in Ver 1.0

It started as a test to see if using more objects from the Sketchup Warehouse would improve the looks of the scenery, then it became an obsession. During the period I was working X-Plane went from 11.00 to 11.25. Some of the changes really helped. Flying the new Aerolite over the city from EGLC is so cool.

Unzip and place the folder in Custom Scenery as usual.

In the time that I was working on this, LR created the Enhanced Landmarks, I have them turned off {adding disabled to the scenery.packs file}

If you want to use their objects you need to open Overlay Editor and remove the 4 objects

The Gerkin #5 , London Eve #65 , Tower Bridge #82 and Westminster #4. Or you could use the Bridge that Paul Mort posted a couple of weeks ago.

As usual, the normal disclaimers apply, I'm aware of every problem of texture and color, sometimes I don't have the skill or the model just will not be able to be corrected. This couldn't be done without the work of Oscar P and his python script. I'm hoping that this gets some people excited enough about seeing every building scenery to explore using Google Earth's new API. I hope one of you is an X-Plane junkie and sees what your art has been used for.

This scenery is not for weak computers, newer Video cards with VRAM are needed.

The Screenshots are with Ortho4xp tile as an underlay.

It should play with either GBPRO or Sim Havens X-Europe.
