P-47-25 Thunderbolt of the 86th Fighter Squadron, 79th Fighter Group, captures a late-war Italy 1945 look with the distinctive three-letter tail code and the “X-plus numbers” marking style carried over from North Africa. Built as a repaint and standalone conversion for FS2004, it includes detailed exterior textures and a period-accurate virtual cockpit.

Italy in 1945 retained the X-plus numbers system it first used on P-40's in North Aftrica. This P-47 was in service with the 86th FS. Repaint/Standalone conversion by Tom Stovall.
