Also included is a reorganized COD Mk4 texture set using shared textures to streamline storage while keeping all repaints ready to fly; requires the Classic British Files base model.

Fairey Gannet MFG2/T.Mk2. Three textures for Rob Richardson's Fairey Gannets, which may be found at Classic British Files. One texture for the AS. Mk1, for a Marinefleiger aeroplane, UA+101; one for the sole Marinefleiger T. Mk2, UA+99; and one texture for the prototype T. Mk2, XA 508, which is on loan from the FAA museum to the Midlands Air Museum. Also included, a restructured COD Mk4 folder and all of the author's repaints, using the 'shared texture' folder structure, to reduce the footprint of the COD 4 installation from 1.35 GB to a lighter 635 MB. You will find all the COD4 repaints and a 'shared texture' folder in the COD4 zip file, with a revised config. file with the appropriate changes made. By Mike Barnes.

Back up your COD 4 folder, then unzip to your COD4 folder, and select overwrite when asked. Back up your COD 4 folder first!, just in case. Unzip the AS.1 texture, drop into the AS.1 folder, open the Config file and copy/paste the new entry from the text file in the AS.1 repaint zipfile, and renumber in sequence. Enjoy!

This file is freeware, and must remain so. The repainted textures are very easy to repaint, and may be repainted and/or reposted as you wish. Its all yours now.

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
