Ocala International Airport (KOCF) in Florida receives a detailed refresh with expanded GA parking, refined road layout, updated buildings, and a fully built-up north end featuring hangars and taxiways. Extra static aircraft, parking lots, and lighting enhance ramp realism in FSX, while using only stock objects and requiring no additional libraries.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Ocala International / Jim Taylor Field (KOCF), Florida (FL). An improved version with added GA parking, new roads, removed and replaced buildings, all hangars, more static planes and more. By Jim Cook.

Ocala International Scenery.

Here is an improved version of the stock Ocala International Airport. I added and moved GA parking spaces. I added new roads, removed and replaced some buildings and added all the hangars and taxiways to the northern end of the field. Added static airplanes and parking lots with cars and light poles.

I also use Ultimate Terrain and FSGenesis landclass but they are not required. All objects are stock FSX so no additional object libraries are needed. Updates made using AirNav diagrams and Google Earth to be as accurate as possible. All work done with Flight 1's AFX program and Instant Scenery.

INSTALLATION:

Extract the two files AFX_KOCF_JC.bgl and KOCF_JC.bgl into your Addon Scenery/Scenery folder, re-start FSX and enjoy.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

Finding the scenery

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
