Skyhaven Airport (KDAW) scenery for FSX refreshes Rochester, New Hampshire with reworked aprons, roads, and taxiways aligned to real-world layouts, plus upgraded default structures, extra local buildings, and detailed airfield clutter. Skyhaven Airport (KDAW), Rochester, New Hampshire (NH). An improved version with adjust aprons, roads and taxiways. Also featured replaced default buildings, added buildings, static vehicles and more. By Jim Cook.

Skyhaven Airport Scenery.

Skyhaven Airport Scenery.

By request, here is an improved version of the stock Skyhaven Airport. I adjusted and added aprons, roads and taxiways to more closely match real life. I replaced many default buildings and added additional buildings. I also added several buildings in the area, such as churches, barns, houses, a motel and water tower. I added static vehicles, aircraft, lightpoles, fences and other filler objects.

This is an interesting airport and I owe thanks to Bob Folsom (Helldiver) for requesting it and for all the pictures and information he sent me, and for testing and providing great feedback.

I use Ultimate Terrain and FSGenesis landclass but they are not required. All objects are stock FSX so no additional object libraries are needed. Updates made using AirNav diagrams and Google Earth to be as accurate as possible. All work done with Flight 1's AFX program and Instant Scenery.

INSTALLATION:

Extract the two files KDAW_AFX_JC.bgl and KDAW_JC.bgl into your Addon Scenery/Scenery folder, re-start FSX and enjoy.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
  3. Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.
  4. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
