Konya Airfield (LTAN) scenery brings central Anatolia’s military base to life with VFR-focused landmarks, realistic object placement, dense autogen, and selective photoreal ground textures for convincing low-level training routes. Built for FSX SP2, it uses mostly default assets and includes extra details that require the Acceleration Pack.

A moderately detailed scenery of KONTA LTAN airfield and the surrounding area, mainly done by the Instant Scenery program for FSX (SP2).
Konya AB/Airfield is basiclly a military field situated in central Anatolia and is a favorite location for NATO low level flight exercises, and also was used as NATO Awacs base field for many years.

The scenery is done by Instant Scenery, SbuilderX, FS Earth Tiles, Instant Object Maker, FSX SP2 SDK (Annotator) and Airport Design Editor.
Contains realistic positioning of objects and autogen, has also some photoreal texture components (with kind permission of Google).

The objects are default FSX objects except that the HAS and apron lights are from Jim Dhaenens, and C-130, C-17 and B-412 models are from Jean-Pierre Fillion. There are also some Acceleration Pack objects so the users of the Acceleration Pack can also see these additional objects.

The scenery is done by both scenery objects and autogen so to see the details both your "Scenery complexity" and "Autogen density" settings must be at least DENSE.
To see the photoreal textures you must have your "Texture resolution" setting to 60cm max (preferebly 7cm).

The installation of the scenery is done in the usual FSX way.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
