FSX / P3D scenery

FSX Mountain Air Scenery

Mountain Air (2NC0) brings North Carolina’s high-elevation private strip to life with a country-club setting tucked into the Appalachian Mountains, delivering a convincing 4,400-foot launching point for scenic departures in FSX. The scenery fits cleanly into the surrounding terrain and requires AB_Buildings for a few optional structures.

Scenery Mountain Air (2NC0), NC. Nestled away in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina, this private airstrip is part of a rather prestigious country club. With an elevation of 4400 feet, it is possible to take off and fly all the way to the Rockies without having to climb. By John "Sharkey" Hawranick, Jr.

INSTALLATION:
All files should go into the Addon Scenery/Scenery subdirectory. There are no flatten files to worry about.

NEEDED FILES:
AB_Bulidings, which you may already have, if you have EZ-Scenery libraries installed. If you can't get these files, relax, they only add a couple houses.

KNOWN ISSUES:
None I'm aware of. Let me know if you find any.

AS ALWAYS:
I hope you enjoy this as much as I. I welcome CONSTRUCTIVE criticism and help. I do this as a hobby and, as such, charge nothing. If satisfied, drop me a line. If dissatisfied, let me know and feel free to delete it or dive-bomb on it.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
  3. Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.
  4. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

Just downloaded the Mountain Air scenery. Should I see any of the golf course with this scenery?
