FSX KGSO Scenery

Greensboro’s Piedmont Triad International (KGSO) scenery brings updated airport layout and enhanced parking and object placement for more convincing airline and GA operations in FSX. It requires the Acceleration Pack for many objects and parking areas, plus GAPLANE1.ZIP and GA hangars library objects for full aircraft and hangar coverage.

NOTE: This airport will be updated with buildings signs, etc as soon as the airport manager gets final FAA approval.

IF YOU HAVE ULTIMATE TERRAIN THERE WILL BE STREETLIGHTS ALONG R23L. I cannot remove them. Was able to remove the old freeway and make the new, however cannot remove the vehicle traffic.

DOWNLOAD: ga hangars library objects if you do not already have them.

DOWNLOAD: gaplane1.zip

Place the two folders into your addon scenery folder.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    I can't seem to find the gaplane1.zip file that you mention. I've tried AVSIM, this site, and google but no joy. Any recommendations?
