FSX Z11L Leipheim AB Scenery

Z11L Leipheim Air Base scenery brings the former Luftwaffe and occasional USAF field near Leipheim and Günzburg to life with updated stock layouts, extensive parking, and full-taxiway access for realistic ground ops in FSX. It adds custom tower and fire station models plus hardened shelters, and requires Malte Deja and Wolfgang Schroeder objects and Jim Dhaenens shelters.

A single paved runway marked 25 is surrounded by taxiways, hangars, and wooded areas under a partly cloudy sky.

Z11L Leipheim AB v1. Leipheim Air Base (Z11L, earlier also known as EDSD) is located in southern Germany near the cities of Leipheim and Guenzburg. From 1961 till 1978 this airbase was a maintenance fascillity for FIAT G-91 and later for Alphajet. Also USAF unit was stationed here from time to time. The last Luftwaffe unit was the JaboG 44 (FBW 44) equipped with Alphajet. The airbase is closed now. These sceneries are updated stock sceneries and done with ADE X 1.50 and objects from stock. Also included are the tower and fire station by Malte Deja and Wolfgang Schroeder and Jim Dhaenens hardened shelters. It has lots of parking spots and you can taxi everywhere as it is in real. Note: The Scenery has not been tested with any addon software like Ultimate Terrain Europe X or VFR Germany.

Installation of Jim Dhaenens hardned shelters (if not already done):

-unzip the file has_lib-1.zip where everyou like.
-install the hardned shelters as given in the attached readme file.

Installation of Malte Deja´s and Wolfgang Schroeder`s buildings:

- unzip the zip file Malte_Dejas_Objects.zip where ever you want.
- move the content of the folder texture to your FSX/Addon Scenery/texture folder.
- move the content of the folder scenery to your FSX/Addon Scenery/Scenery folder.

Installation of my work:

-Unzip the files anywhere
-to get Erding AB move the two .bgl files of the Folder Z11L_Leipheim-AB_V1 called
Z11L_ADEX_US_V-1.BGL and
Z11L_ADEX_US_V-1_CVX.bgl
to your FSX /Addon Scenery /scenery Folder.

Remove:

Just delete the files from the folders mentioned above.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
