Where can I download Vision Jet liveries for MSFS?

Download Vision Jet liveries from an MSFS-specific freeware library such as our MSFS freeware library, from the aircraft developer’s official distribution channel, or through Microsoft Flight Simulator’s in-sim Marketplace. Check that each repaint names your exact Vision Jet model and simulator version; older FSX or Prepar3D texture packs will not install in MSFS.

Where should I look for Vision Jet repaints?

Use a download category dedicated to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 or 2024, then search for Vision Jet, Cirrus SF50 and Vision Jet G2. Read the complete file description rather than relying on the aircraft name or screenshot.

• MSFS freeware libraries: Suitable for individual PC livery packages, provided the listing identifies the supported simulator and base aircraft.
• The aircraft publisher’s official channel: Usually the safest source when your Vision Jet is a separately installed add-on, because its repaints are built for that particular aircraft package.
• The in-sim Marketplace: A managed option on PC and the normal source on consoles. A repaint may be sold or supplied separately, or included with an aircraft package.

A common mistake is assuming every SF50 download is interchangeable. For example, our archived seven-paint SF50 texture pack requires an older FlightSim Developers aircraft and is not an MSFS package. The same warning applies to other files labelled for FSX or Prepar3D.

Which Vision Jet model must the livery support?

The livery must identify the same underlying aircraft package installed in your simulator. Two aircraft can both appear as “Cirrus Vision Jet” in the menu while using different model, texture and configuration files.

• Simulator: Look for MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024 or an explicit statement that both are supported.
• Base aircraft: Check whether the repaint is for a default aircraft or a separately installed Vision Jet add-on.
• Publisher or package: Match the developer or package named in the download description to your installed aircraft.
• Dependency: A livery contains paint files, not the flyable aircraft. The required Vision Jet must already be installed.
• Platform: Manually downloaded ZIP packages are intended for PC unless they are also distributed through the simulator’s supported console content system.

On Xbox Series X|S, and on the PlayStation 5 versions of MSFS 2024, there is no user-accessible Community folder. Use the simulator’s managed content system instead. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 was never released on PlayStation.

Do MSFS 2020 Vision Jet liveries work in MSFS 2024?

Some MSFS 2020 liveries work in MSFS 2024, but compatibility is not automatic. The repaint still needs the correct aircraft package, texture mapping and configuration structure.

If a download is labelled only for MSFS 2020, treat it as a 2020 livery until its creator confirms 2024 support. Our MSFS 2020-to-2024 livery compatibility checks explain what to verify before installing it.

An incompatible repaint may be absent from the aircraft selector, show missing or misplaced textures, or load against the wrong model variation. Remove it from the Community folder and look for a revised package rather than overwriting the base aircraft.

How do I install a downloaded Vision Jet livery?

On PC, extract the livery and place its package folder in the simulator’s Community folder. The exact Community-folder location depends on the simulator version, store installation and any custom path; our full Community-folder installation steps cover those variations.

1. Extract the download. Do not leave the livery inside its ZIP or other archive.
2. Find the package root. A normal MSFS package commonly contains files such as manifest.json and layout.json. Avoid an extra nested folder between the Community folder and these files.
3. Copy the complete package folder. Give each repaint its own folder in Community and never overwrite the aircraft’s files in the Official content area.
4. Restart the simulator. Open aircraft selection, choose the matching Vision Jet variation and select the new paint scheme.

If the livery does not appear, first check for an unextracted archive, double-nested folders, the wrong Vision Jet package or a 2020-only repaint being used in MSFS 2024. Marketplace liveries are installed through the simulator’s content system and should not be copied manually into Community.
