You can download Embraer E-Jet liveries for Microsoft Flight Simulator from Fly Away Simulation’s freeware MSFS library and, where offered, from the simulator’s in-game Marketplace. Match every repaint to the exact base aircraft, developer, E-Jet variant and simulator edition; an E175 livery will not automatically work with a different E175 package.
Where can you get MSFS Embraer liveries?

On Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 or PS5 Pro, use Marketplace liveries or paints delivered with the aircraft. Consoles do not expose the PC-style Community folder for manually downloaded ZIP packages. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 was not released on PlayStation; the PlayStation version is Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Which livery matches my E-Jet add-on?
Compatibility depends on the add-on’s internal package identity, not simply on the Embraer model named in the aircraft selector.
- Developer and product: a repaint made for one developer’s E175 normally cannot be used with another developer’s E175.
- Exact airframe: treat the E170, E175, E190, E195 and their E2 counterparts as separate models unless the download explicitly supports several variants.
- Simulator edition: choose a package confirmed for MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024 or both. Do not assume that every 2020 livery is compatible with 2024.
- Base aircraft: a livery contains paint textures and configuration data, not the flyable aircraft. The required freeware or payware E-Jet must already be installed.
- Distribution version: if the author distinguishes between Marketplace and non-Marketplace aircraft builds, use the package intended for yours.

How do I install a downloaded E-Jet livery?
A manually downloaded Embraer livery goes into the active Community folder on PC; Marketplace content is installed and managed through the simulator.
- Confirm the base aircraft first. Load the unpainted E-Jet and check that it works before adding the repaint.
- Extract the archive. Do not place the unopened ZIP or RAR file in the Community folder.
- Locate the actual package folder. It should contain files such as
manifest.jsonandlayout.json. Remove any unnecessary outer wrapper folder. - Copy the package with MSFS closed. Put that package folder directly inside the active Community folder. Its location varies between MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024 and different PC installations.
- Restart the simulator. Select the exact E-Jet variant, then choose the new paint from its livery or appearance selector.
Why is my Embraer livery not showing in MSFS?
A missing E-Jet livery usually means the package targets the wrong aircraft or has been installed one folder too deep.
- Check that the download names the same developer, product and E-Jet variant you installed.
- Open the Community folder and remove double nesting such as
Community/livery-name/livery-name/manifest.json. - Make sure you used the active Community folder for the correct simulator; MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 can have separate locations.
- Confirm that the required base aircraft is installed, enabled and updated.
- Remove older duplicate copies of the same repaint, then restart the simulator.
- If the livery was made only for MSFS 2020, look for an explicitly compatible MSFS 2024 release rather than renaming files.
