Fix a missing Navigraph flight plan in MSFS 2024 by checking SimBrief generation, account links, EFB import, avionics transfer and AIRAC data.
A missing Navigraph flight plan in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is usually caused by importing the wrong plan type, using a different Navigraph or SimBrief account, or expecting the EFB route to appear automatically in the cockpit. Regenerate the SimBrief OFP, relink the account, import it, then load it separately into the aircraft.
Why is my Navigraph flight plan not showing?
A Navigraph route can exist in several separate systems, and saving it in one does not automatically place it in the others. First establish where the plan is actually missing.
| Location | What it holds | Common mistake |
|---|---|---|
| Navigraph Charts | A saved route and chart overlays | Assuming the saved route is automatically an MSFS or SimBrief flight plan |
| SimBrief | A generated operational flight plan, or OFP | Saving a draft without generating a fresh OFP |
| MSFS 2024 EFB | The simulator's working route | Using the wrong account or not completing the import |
| Aircraft FMS | The route used by the cockpit avionics | Assuming an EFB import also programs every aircraft automatically |
A route saved only in Navigraph Charts may need to be exported in a compatible format or used to create and generate a SimBrief OFP. Navigraph Hub installs navigation data; it does not synchronise saved flight plans.
How do I restore the missing flight plan?
Work from the original plan towards the aircraft so that you can identify the stage at which it disappears.
- Confirm that the plan was generated. Open SimBrief and check that a completed OFP exists with the intended departure, destination and route. If you edited the route after generating it, generate it again; aircraft and EFB integrations can otherwise fetch the older OFP.
- Check the account identifier. Make sure MSFS 2024 and any aircraft tablet are connected to the same Navigraph or SimBrief account used to generate the plan. Where an aircraft asks for a SimBrief username or Pilot ID, do not enter the flight number, callsign or a subscription number.
- Refresh the account connection. Sign out of the relevant integration, reconnect it and reopen the EFB or aircraft tablet. This repairs expired authentication without deleting aircraft or simulator packages.
- Import the plan into the EFB. Use the SimBrief import option, or load a compatible exported plan where file import is supported. Verify that the origin and destination appear before continuing. Our SimBrief-to-EFB import troubleshooting steps cover account mismatches and incomplete imports in detail.
- Transfer it to the cockpit. Use the EFB's avionics transfer function if that aircraft supports it. Otherwise, fetch the plan through the aircraft's own tablet or FMS integration, load a supported file, or enter the route manually.
- Activate and inspect the route. Select the correct first leg, remove genuine discontinuities and check the departure and arrival procedures. Do not import the same plan through both the EFB and aircraft tablet unless necessary, because this can duplicate waypoints or procedures.
Why is the plan in the EFB but not in the cockpit?
The MSFS 2024 EFB and the aircraft's flight-management system are separate flight-plan stores. An EFB route only reaches the cockpit when the aircraft supports that transfer method.
- Supported default avionics: use the EFB command that sends the route to the aircraft, then confirm and activate it in the avionics.
- Aircraft with their own tablet: configure the SimBrief identifier there and perform the aircraft-specific import.
- Aircraft without direct integration: use a compatible plan file if supported, or enter the route in the FMS manually.
Filing a route with MSFS air traffic control can also be separate from loading it into the avionics. See our guide to sending an MSFS 2024 plan to the aircraft and ATC if one system has the route but the other does not.
Can an AIRAC mismatch hide a Navigraph plan?
An AIRAC mismatch normally causes rejected waypoints, missing airways or unavailable procedures rather than making the whole flight plan vanish. Compare the navigation-data cycle used by SimBrief, Navigraph Charts, MSFS and the aircraft.
If the route imports but contains unknown fixes, update or repair the relevant PC navdata package using our instructions for repairing and updating MSFS navigation data. Another practical fix is to import the en-route portion and select the SID, STAR and approach from the aircraft's installed database.
On Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, desktop Navigraph Hub packages and local PC file paths are unavailable. Use only the account integrations exposed inside MSFS 2024 or by the selected aircraft.
What if it still says No flight plan found?
The message No flight plan found usually means the integration cannot find a generated OFP for the supplied account identifier.
- Generate a small test flight in SimBrief and try importing it into the MSFS 2024 EFB before testing the aircraft integration.
- Check for spaces, typing errors or confusion between a SimBrief Pilot ID, username and email address.
- Confirm that MSFS online services and the console or PC network connection are working.
- If the EFB finds the test plan but the aircraft does not, the fault is aircraft-specific; recheck its tablet or FMS account setting and supported import method.
- If neither finds it, relink the account and regenerate the OFP. Reinstalling Navigraph Hub will not repair a missing cloud flight plan.
