Before installing, check whether your exact PMDG aircraft has an MSFS 2024-compatible build. The 737-600, 737-700, 737-800 and 737-900 are separate variants; owning one does not automatically grant the others.
A direct PMDG Store purchase will not normally appear as an owned Marketplace product, while a Marketplace purchase is not installed through Operations Center. Mixing those routes is one of the most common causes of duplicate or missing packages.
Is there a PMDG 737 MSFS 2024 free download?
No legitimate free download provides the complete PMDG 737 for MSFS 2024; it is a commercial aircraft and is not included merely because you own the simulator.

A PMDG Store purchase should be downloaded and installed through PMDG Operations Center rather than extracted manually into Community.
- Close Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Do not install or repair the aircraft while the simulator is reading its package folders.
- Open PMDG Operations Center. Allow the manager itself to update if prompted, then sign in with the PMDG account that owns the required 737 variant.
- Select MSFS 2024. Make sure the chosen simulator is Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, not MSFS 2020. If no compatible 2024 package is offered, do not force the older package into the new simulator.
- Select the exact aircraft. Choose the owned 737 variant and its MSFS 2024 package. Check the account if the product is absent or shown as unowned.
- Confirm the Packages location. Let Operations Center detect the active MSFS 2024 location. Pay particular attention if MSFS 2020 is also installed or you selected a custom Packages path during simulator setup.
- Complete the installation. Wait until the download, extraction and installation have all finished. Check free storage and security-software notifications if the process stops part-way through.
- Launch MSFS 2024. Clear any aircraft-selection filters, then search for PMDG, Boeing or the specific variant. Its first load can take longer while simulator components are initialised.

How do I install a Marketplace PMDG 737?
A Marketplace purchase must be installed from the MSFS 2024 library while signed into the account that owns it.
- Start MSFS 2024 with the owning account. A different Microsoft, Xbox or console account may show the product as unavailable even on the same device.
- Open the Marketplace library. Locate the exact PMDG 737 variant and confirm that the listed package supports MSFS 2024 on that platform.
- Make the package available locally. Select the available download or install action. Menu wording can vary, so confirm that the aircraft is installed rather than merely marked as owned.
- Wait for package processing to finish. Do not close the simulator or interrupt the download before its status changes to installed or locally available.
- Restart the simulator. Search the aircraft selector again with all filters cleared.
Do not place an Operations Center copy over the Marketplace edition. If changing distribution route, uninstall the old package through the system that installed it before adding the replacement.
Can I copy the MSFS 2020 PMDG 737 into MSFS 2024?
No. Install the compatible MSFS 2024 package offered through Operations Center or the Marketplace instead of copying the MSFS 2020 aircraft folder.
A complex aircraft can appear in the selector yet fail once loaded because its gauges, modules, support files or package metadata do not match the target simulator. Renaming folders or editing a manifest does not convert an MSFS 2020 package into an MSFS 2024 build.
Why is the PMDG 737 not showing in MSFS 2024?
A missing PMDG 737 usually indicates the wrong simulator build, account, package path or aircraft-selector filter.
- Wrong simulator selected: reopen Operations Center and verify that the installation target is MSFS 2024 rather than MSFS 2020.

- Package is owned but not installed: in the Marketplace library, check that the aircraft is downloaded or available locally rather than only listed as purchased.
- Wrong account or variant: confirm that the signed-in account owns the specific 737 variant you are trying to find.
- Aircraft filters are hiding it: clear favourites, manufacturer, aircraft-type and activity filters, then search for PMDG and the model number.
- Duplicate packages are present: remove an old manually copied package and retain only the copy managed by your purchase source. Use the relevant manager’s uninstall or repair control where possible.
- The installation was interrupted: check available storage, failed-download messages and security-software quarantine notices, then run a repair or reinstall through the proper manager.
- An unrelated add-on conflicts: temporarily disable other Community-folder add-ons while leaving the managed PMDG package in place, then test the aircraft again.
If the aircraft loads but its displays are dark, the installation may be working correctly. A cold-and-dark panel state requires electrical power; test a powered panel state before deleting and reinstalling the package. If only a particular repaint is missing, verify that the livery was made for the installed 737 variant.
Can I install the PMDG 737 on Xbox or PlayStation?
On Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 or PS5 Pro, installation is possible only through that console’s MSFS 2024 Marketplace and only when a compatible version is listed for the platform.
PMDG Operations Center is a Windows PC installation method. Console users cannot transfer the PC package manually, and a direct PMDG Store licence should not be assumed to include a console entitlement. The same caution applies to purchases made under a different platform account.
