A helicopter-only instrument approach

Washington Island’s sole instrument approach is an RNAV (GPS) procedure for helicopters, so the published set provides no fixed-wing instrument approach. The remaining material comprises one departure procedure and one minima document, with no separate airport diagram. This is therefore narrowly focused coverage rather than a broad set serving multiple runway ends.

Runways and regional coverage

The two turf runways provide different alignments but are almost identical in length, both around 2,250 ft. The second alignment adds directional choice, not a longer strip; aircraft use is consequently bounded by short turf-runway capability. Nearby coverage is broadest at Delta County with ten charts, while Ephraim/Gibraltar and Schoolcraft County each have only four. The Green Bay Sectional supplies wider visual-navigation context absent from the airport-specific procedures.
