Procedure coverage

Keystone Heights has two runway alignments whose similar lengths leave neither with a substantial length advantage. Instrument coverage is much more selective: a single RNAV (GPS) approach serves only one of the four runway ends. The procedure set therefore provides an instrument arrival for one runway direction rather than coverage across both alignments. The airport diagram shows how the two runways relate on the field.

Regional chart context

Cecil and Jacksonville NAS have the broadest chart sets among the nearby airports, while Gainesville has more coverage than Keystone Heights without matching those two. Palatka and Herlong have similarly thin sets. The Jacksonville Sectional adds regional VFR context beyond the airport diagram and the single published approach.
