Concentrated instrument coverage

St Augustine has six runway alignments, including three water runways, yet published approaches serve only two runway ends. The mix of ILS, localiser and RNAV (GPS) procedures provides both ground-based and satellite-based guidance, but instrument access remains concentrated rather than distributed across the field. The 8,001 ft asphalt runway is substantially longer than the two asphalt runways of roughly 2,600–2,700 ft, making runway length a significant distinction within the layout.

Regional chart context

Jacksonville NAS, Jacksonville Executive at Craig and Mayport NS each have notably broader chart sets. Flagler Executive is closer to St Augustine’s level of coverage, while Palatka Municipal has the thinnest set listed nearby. The Jacksonville Sectional adds the surrounding visual-navigation context not provided by the terminal procedures.
