Jacksonville NAS has RNAV (GPS) approaches to only two of its four runway ends, concentrating instrument access on half of the runway configuration rather than providing coverage for every alignment. The 9,003 ft Runway 10/28 offers substantially more available length than the 5,978 ft Runway 14/32, making runway selection a material planning distinction rather than a choice between equivalent strips.
Jacksonville Executive at Craig and Mayport NS each match Jacksonville NAS with 15 published charts, while Cecil is close behind with 14. Jacksonville International has a markedly broader set at 35 charts; Herlong Recreational is much thinner with four.
