Procedure coverage

Bourland Field’s two RNAV (GPS) approaches serve opposite ends of its sole runway, giving the procedure set balanced arrival coverage rather than favouring one direction. The much larger departure component makes the collection notably more departure-focused. With only one 4,049 ft runway, there is no alternative alignment, while its length rules out aircraft requiring greater take-off or landing distance.

Local chart context

Parker County has almost identical overall chart coverage, while Cleburne Regional is also comparable. Fort Worth Spinks and Fort Worth NAS JRB have broader procedure sets; Granbury Regional’s is markedly thinner. For visual planning, the Sectional supplies the wider regional picture, the Terminal Area Chart provides more detailed coverage around Fort Worth, and the Helicopter Route Chart adds routing information specific to helicopter operations.
