Procedure coverage

Fort Worth NAS JRB’s chart set is weighted strongly towards departures: 18 departure charts against eight approach plates. Approach coverage is concentrated on two runway ends, combining ILS, localiser and RNAV (GPS) options rather than serving every listed end. The two runways follow effectively the same north–south alignment, so there is no materially different runway direction. Their pronounced length difference places far greater runway-length capacity on the 11,999-ft strip.

Local chart context

Meacham International and Fort Worth Spinks have chart sets closest in breadth to NFW’s; Parker County and Bourland Field are more moderate, while Kenneth Copeland’s three-chart set is much thinner. The Sectional supplies regional VFR context, the Terminal Area Chart adds more detailed Dallas–Fort Worth coverage, and the Helicopter Route Chart provides dedicated rotorcraft route depiction absent from the instrument procedures.
