Go PROFrom Weatherford in the west to the country approaching Terrell in the east, this sheet spans the full Dallas–Fort Worth urban corridor. It reaches north beyond Denton and south towards Waxahachie, taking in the dense central Metroplex and its broad suburban margins.
The setting is predominantly rolling North Texas prairie rather than mountainous terrain. Extensive development, major transport corridors and numerous reservoirs give way to more open farmland near the outer edges. That contrast makes the sheet particularly characteristic of helicopter flying around a large, dispersed inland conurbation.
The same area also appears on the relevant Sectional Aeronautical Chart and Terminal Area Chart. The sectional places Dallas–Fort Worth within a much wider regional setting, making it the broader-context companion for routes entering or leaving North Texas. The terminal area chart provides an enlarged treatment of the busy metropolitan area, while the Helicopter Route Chart presents the specialised rotorcraft view of the Metroplex on a single, self-contained sheet.
