Aurora Municipal’s six approach charts serve four of its six runway ends, leaving two ends without a published instrument approach. The mix of ILS, localiser and RNAV (GPS) procedures provides both ground-based and satellite-based coverage. Runway length also separates the available alignments clearly: an aircraft requiring more than 5,503 ft has only runway 09/27 available, while one requiring more than 3,198 ft cannot use 18/36.
DuPage and Lewis University have chart sets comparable in breadth to Aurora’s.
