BFI’s parallel runways differ in length by 6,298 ft, creating a clear division: aircraft needing more than 3,709 ft must use the longer parallel. Instrument approaches serve only two of the four runway ends, so coverage is concentrated rather than available on every alignment. The mix of ILS, localiser and RNAV (GPS) procedures provides both ground-based and satellite-based options for those served ends.
KSEA has a much broader procedure set, while KRNT also has substantial coverage despite being the closest listed field. S50, KPWT and KTIW have markedly thinner chart sets. The Seattle Sectional adds the wider visual-navigation and airspace context that airport-specific instrument procedures do not show.
