Buchanan Field combines four runways in two left/right parallel pairs, but published instrument arrival coverage reaches only one runway end. The RNAV (GPS) and VOR procedures provide different forms of guidance without extending coverage elsewhere. The airport diagram helps distinguish the paired designations. The longer runways provide 5,001 and 4,602 ft, while both companion parallels are under 2,800 ft; available runway length therefore changes sharply within each alignment.
KOAK has by far the broadest chart set among the nearby fields, with KAPC and KSUU also carrying substantially more coverage than Buchanan Field. KHWD is closely comparable, while O88 has a markedly thinner set. The San Francisco Sectional supplies wider regional VFR context, and the San Francisco Terminal Area Chart adds a more detailed terminal-area view beyond the airport-specific procedures.
