Simmons AAF has one RNAV (GPS) approach to each end of runway 10/28, giving the single runway balanced instrument coverage rather than concentrating procedures on one direction. With no second runway, all operations use the same 4,121 ft strip; aircraft requiring a longer take-off or landing distance are therefore excluded by the available length. The airport diagram complements the two procedures with the field layout.
Fayetteville Regional/Grannis Field has the broadest nearby procedure set, with more than twice the chart coverage of any other listed field. Pope AAF and Moore County each have moderately larger sets than Simmons, while Harnett Regional Jetport is similar in scale. P K Airpark has the thinnest coverage. The Charlotte Sectional adds the wider visual chart context not provided by the airport diagram or RNAV procedures.
