Warrenton/Fauquier’s single 5,000 ft runway has published approaches to both ends, so the procedure set is not confined to one direction. Three approaches provide two RNAV (GPS) options and one localiser option, giving the field a mix of satellite-based and localiser guidance rather than an all-RNAV set. With no second runway, every procedure ultimately serves runway 15/33.
Washington Manassas/Harry P Davis Field has substantially broader chart coverage than KHWY. Culpeper Regional, Washington Executive/Stafford Regional, Quantico MCAF and Shannon have totals much closer to KHWY’s, forming a comparatively even group. For visual planning, the Washington Sectional supplies wider regional context, while the Baltimore-Washington Terminal Area Chart adds a more focused view around the airport.
