Approach coverage on both runway alignments

Jacksonville International’s procedure set serves all four ends of its two-runway layout, so instrument coverage is not confined to one direction. ILS and RNAV (GPS) procedures are equally prominent, with localiser and VOR options adding further variety; one ILS also carries CAT II/III minima. The two alignments differ materially in length, with 08/26 providing 2,299 ft more runway than 14/32.

Regional chart context

Every nearby listed field has markedly thinner chart coverage than JAX. Craig, Mayport NS and Jacksonville NAS form the better-covered nearby group, while Fernandina Beach is lighter and Herlong Recreational much thinner. The Jacksonville Sectional adds broader VFR context beyond the terminal procedure coverage.
