Coverage across three runway alignments

Leesburg’s three published approaches are all RNAV (GPS) procedures, and together they serve only three of the field’s six runway ends. Instrument coverage is therefore selective rather than available on every alignment, with no second approach type represented. The 15,000 ft water runway is relevant only to water-capable aircraft; for land aircraft, 13/31 offers 1,343 ft more runway length than 04/22.

Regional chart context

Orlando Executive is the only listed nearby airport with a broader procedure set than Leesburg. Ocala has an intermediate set, while Umatilla, Orlando Apopka and Inverness have much thinner coverage. The Jacksonville Sectional supplies the wider VFR navigation picture around Leesburg that the airport diagram and terminal procedures do not provide.
