At Taylor County, each of the four runway ends has its own RNAV (GPS) approach. That gives both runway alignments balanced instrument coverage, although the published approaches provide no alternative to GPS-based procedures. Runway 09/27 is 1,565 ft longer than 16/34, making it the field’s clearly longer alignment while the second runway adds another directional option.
Marshfield Municipal has the same total number of published charts, while Central Wisconsin has the broadest nearby set with nine. Merrill Municipal, Tomahawk Regional and Wausau Downtown each have thinner four-chart collections. The Green Bay Sectional adds the wider visual and regional context not contained in Taylor County’s instrument procedure charts.
