Manitowoc County’s three instrument approach procedures serve only two of its four runway ends, leaving half without a published approach. The set combines ILS and localiser options with two RNAV (GPS) procedures, providing both ground-based and satellite-based coverage within the served pair. Runway 17/35 is 1,660 ft longer than 07/25; any aircraft needing more than 3,341 ft of runway is therefore confined to the longer alignment.
New Holstein Municipal has a thinner procedure set than Manitowoc County, while Sheboygan County Memorial International is moderately broader. Green Bay/Austin Straubel International, Appleton International and Wittman Regional each have more than twice Manitowoc’s chart count. Coverage by both the Chicago and Green Bay sectionals adds wider visual-navigation context beyond the airport-specific instrument procedures.
