Montgomery-Gibbs Executive has ILS, localiser and RNAV (GPS) approach capability, but every published approach serves the same runway end. The remaining five runway ends therefore have no published instrument approach. Two departure procedures broaden the instrument set, while the airport diagram and hotspot chart provide ground-layout detail for the three-runway configuration and helipad.
The 4,598 ft runway provides nearly 1,200 ft more available length than either of the other two runways, making runway selection a substantial change in usable distance rather than merely alignment. Among nearby fields, KSAN has by far the broadest procedure collection, followed by KNZY and KNKX; KNRS has markedly thinner coverage. The Los Angeles Sectional supplies wider VFR context, while the San Diego Terminal Area Chart adds more focused terminal-area detail.

4, which is why the chart set is as large as it is — each runway end that supports an instrument approach needs its own plates. The runway diagram on this page shows the layout to scale.
