Only one end of Solon Springs Municipal’s 01/19 runway has a published instrument approach, and that procedure is RNAV (GPS). The opposite end has no published approach, so the instrument chart set offers no choice of runway alignment. At 3,100 ft, the sole conventional runway also excludes aircraft requiring a longer take-off or landing distance; the separate 40 ft H1 is limited to helicopter use.
