All four runway ends at Rhode Island T F Green International have instrument approaches, so the procedure set is not concentrated on a single alignment. ILS and RNAV (GPS) coverage is supplemented by localiser and VOR procedures, while one ILS includes CAT II/III minima. The two runways also provide distinctly different available lengths: 8,700 ft on 05/23 and 6,081 ft on 16/34.
Quonset State has the broadest nearby procedure set, although its nine charts are only about half PVD’s total. North Central State, Newport State, Mansfield Municipal and Taunton Municipal have progressively thinner coverage, with five to seven charts each. The New York Sectional supplies wider regional VFR context, while the Boston Terminal Area Chart adds more focused terminal-area detail.
