Richmond Municipal’s three RNAV (GPS) approaches are distributed across three of its four runway ends, rather than providing several variants for one end. One runway end therefore has no published instrument approach, and there is no alternative approach type. The two runways are close in length: the shorter is only 503 ft behind the 5,502 ft runway, giving the layout two similarly scaled alignments.
Mettel Field, Miami University and New Castle Henry County Marlatt Field match Richmond by total chart count. Middletown Regional/Hook Field has broader coverage, while Dayton/Phillipsburg’s set is distinctly thinner. The Cincinnati Terminal Area Chart adds detailed VFR terminal-area context, while the Cincinnati, Detroit and St Louis sectionals provide wider visual-chart coverage beyond the instrument procedures.
