San Antonio International’s procedures serve four of its six runway ends. The mix of ILS, localiser and RNAV (GPS) procedures provides more than one approach method, while one ILS includes CAT II/III minima. Two runways extend to roughly 8,500 ft, giving the field two substantially longer alignments than the 5,519 ft parallel runway.
Randolph AFB, Kelly Field and Stinson Municipal each have chart sets approaching the breadth of San Antonio’s, whereas Boerne Stage Airfield and Castroville Municipal have markedly thinner coverage. The San Antonio Sectional supplies the wider VFR airspace and geographic context absent from terminal procedures, while the US Gulf Coast Helicopter Route Chart adds helicopter-route detail.
