Stinson Municipal’s chart set is weighted strongly towards departures: ten departure procedures accompany only three approaches. Those approaches serve two of the four runway ends, leaving the other two without published instrument approach coverage. Two RNAV (GPS) procedures provide most of the arrival coverage, with a single VOR procedure adding a different form of guidance.
Runway 10/28 provides 872 ft more length than 14/32, a material distinction when screening aircraft against available runway length. The airport diagram clarifies the two-runway ground layout. Nearby, Kelly Field, San Antonio International and Randolph AFB have similarly broad or broader chart collections, while Castroville Municipal and Pleasanton Municipal have markedly thinner coverage. The San Antonio Sectional supplies wider VFR context, while the US Gulf Coast Helicopter Route Chart adds helicopter-specific route information absent from the terminal procedures.
