Each end of Bay Bridge’s sole 2,714 ft runway has an RNAV (GPS) approach. The compact procedure set therefore provides reciprocal instrument coverage, but no alternative approach type or second runway alignment. The runway length also makes available take-off and landing distance a defining consideration for aircraft using the field.
Among nearby airports, Easton/Newnam Field and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall have substantially broader procedure collections. Lee has thinner coverage, while Freeway and Fort Meade Executive have chart sets of the same overall size as Bay Bridge. The Washington Sectional adds wider VFR context; the Baltimore-Washington Terminal Area and Helicopter Route charts provide more specialised detail beyond the airport’s instrument procedures.
