FSX / P3D scenery

Quad City Int'l Airport

Quad City International Airport (KMLI) scenery for Moline, Illinois refines the taxiway layout and improves terminal operations with accurate gate and parking codes. It expands general aviation parking across multiple areas, updates the fire station placement, and adds extra detail around the main cargo ramp for a busier feel in Microsoft Flight Simulator X.

Quad City Int'l Airport (KMLI), Moline, Illinois (IL). Adds parking and gate codes to the terminal area and more accurately models the taxiway system. It also adds GA parking at various areas. By John Lupori.

To install: Drop in the addon scenery/scenery folder in FSX and restart.

Other changes: Replaced a default hanger where fire station should be with a default station. As defined in this release, added some extras at the main cargo area. I believe that at the actual airfield there are no cargo ops where I have them but it seemed to be a more active area so I went with this setup.

Use this file at your own risk. This little file took awhile to do so please respect the work and contact me if you would like to use it in whole or part in another project. It's released as freeware and I would like it to stay that way.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
  3. Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.
  4. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
