Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Repaint texture pack for the Tim Conrad Grumman American AA-5B Tiger, which you must have previously installed in FSX. Your choice of 32-bit 2048-pixel textures (for maximum definition), or 32-bit 1024-pixel textures (for better frame rates). Install either one or install both at once if you wish. Easy installation. Repaints by Tom Tiedman.

Installation

This pack contains 10 different repaints that must be installed manually using the aircaft.cfg.  You must also have the Tim Conrad Grumman Tiger base model.  For repaint installation instructions, visit the Flight School.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D livery / repaint

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Add livery to base aircraft folder

    Place the texture folder (typically texture.{airline}) inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\{base-aircraft}\.

  3. Update aircraft.cfg

    Open the base aircraft.cfg in Notepad. Add a new [fltsim.X] section per the readme.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
