Boeing B-17G “Century Note” livery recreates wartime aircraft 42-107100, famed for completing 100 missions, with accurate squadron markings and weathered detail for convincing screenshots and period flying. Designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it requires the A2A Simulations Accu-Sim B-17 Flying Fortress and integrates cleanly into the aircraft selection.

Take the texture folder "texture.centurynote" and copy it to the "WoP2_b17g" folder in FSX.

Next..."ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR CONFIG FILE FIRST!"

And then modify the config as follows...

[FLTSIM.XX] with .XX being the next number available.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.
Verify in FSX

Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.
