FSX RAF General Dynamics EF-111A 42nd ECS

RAF Upper Heyford’s 42nd ECS EF-111A Raven fleet comes to life in FSX with 14 historically themed AI repaints featuring the brief 1987–1988 nose-art era, plus simple flight plans to keep them active in the sky. Requires John Young’s AI EF-111A model and adds authentic Cold War ambience to busy military traffic.

Textures only for John Young's AI EF-111A Raven. Fourteen aircraft of the 42nd ECS based at RAF Upper Heyford. These aircraft displayed nose art for a brief period between 1987 and 1988. Also a simple set of flight plans to get them in the air. Textures by Daryl Payne.

Installation:

Unzip files to a temporary folder.

Insert the [flitsm:xx] text into the aircraft.cfg file, replacing the xx with the next numbers in sequence.

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
